I have 2 rouen ducks and 2 muscovy ducks. They are 2 months old. They have been living together very happily. I noticed some blood on the floor of their home and when I checked it out, I noticed blood on the wing of the female Rouen. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is someone pecking her? What should I do? The other Rouen is a male.
Thanks!

I have muscovies and posted about bleeding wing on one of my girls. It is very definitely one of the other one's pecking at her. If there is a drake it is likely him doing it. My 3 girls get along well but the drake is a big bully and really picks on the ducks. Not sure what to say. Mine is put in a cage to let her heal a bit but is still with the other ducks, Stop the bleeding then consider how to deal with who is picking on her.

At 2 months I don't think it's a sexual thing with the drake it could also be boredom, they need some stimulation get them something to eat I use cabbage and hang it for mine they love to bat it around while pulling off small pieces to eat. you can also use head lettuce or Romaine.

Someone may have yanked a wing, i have had it happen here.. come home to find a bloody duck wing, i agree with ML even here 2mths would be to young for sexual behaviour. now 4mths possible, i seem to have some active ones here.

I use my septic powder on bloody wings, nails and so forth, a common kitchen alternative cornstarch and flour.
