Bleeds molting

This little baby is roughly 6 weeks old I believe. I noticed today that he has a bloody patch where he is molting. I think he and our other baby's are pecking at the area. What can I do to help?

Put Neosporin on it and cordon off a separate area for him where he can still see the other chicks but not be pecked by them, with his own food / water supply. Also, give him some kind of toy / special treat to take his mind off his chest. I've found hanging a carrot by a string can satisfy the urge to peck...
