I was reading some older books and they said to put a pole out where your birds range and hang a "mobile" of shiney metal objects that will catch the wind. CD's work wonderfully for that as you can string a string of them, put them in all sorts of places.

I'd try that - it's worth a shot.

I might be mistaken since I'm not too familiar with falconry. I *think* you have to be a certain level to take a peregrine, I'm not sure that apprentice level falconers can get one. Still, check with the club-they will have more information and at least contacts.
