blind chick

I have the cutest little silkie who I believe is blind. ugh

The thing walks around in circles pecking at whatever it can find then oh look i hit the water dish. Takes a head full of water and then cant find it again. Cant find the feed bowl I have to put some on the brooder floor. Does not run but walks around in both circle directions.

What do I do with this cute thing.

I hate to say it, but, maybe you should euthanize it. That is, unless you want to spend a great deal of time caring for it in isolation, so it doesn't get picked on, doesn't drown itself, doesn't wander off, etc. Sorry

Is this a just hatched chick? Silly question - but are the eye lids open?

I had a chick (not silkie) hatch with one eye closed - lid refused to open. Luckily for some reason - after a couple days the lid opened.
