Blind Chicken?

I have two leghorn pullets and one of them is fine and the other has kept her eyes closed all day. Thought that she was just trying to sleep for a while but she can't seem to keep her eyes open for more than 2 seconds and I am starting to get a bit worried. I picked her up to see if she would open her eyes at the touch of my hand but she didn't and I know that she is definitely not dead. Has anyone else had this issue?

I would go get some poultry eye drops from you local farm store and start applying it to your pullets eyes. Something is irritating her eyes and she is not wanting to open them up. Once the eyes are open and if the eye appears to look greyish then your pullet is going blind or is already blind. I just had to put on of my hens down for she went blind and the flock turned on her for the worst.
