Blind Goose?

I have a white chinese goose. He lost his mate recently. About 2 weeks after this I noticed that something was wrong with his right eye. It was looking white and glazed over. He didn't appear to be able to see out of it. Now he keeps it closed and it is draining clear liquid out of it. I looked at him today and his around his left eye it was like I could see his pulse beating. He kept shaking his head. Has anyone heard anything like this before? Is he likely to be going blind in that eye as well? Is there anything that I can do to help him?

Yes. Terramycin. There is a form of it you can get at the feedstore which is for use on eyes.
