Blind hen can’t find calcium supplements which leads to squishy and broken eggs

I’ve asked about one squishy egg from and most of you said it was just a random thing that happens to young hens. But recently another of my hens started laying and in the past week I’ve found four squishy eggs, all broken and in their coop. Luckily they only like to go in the coop when they sleep (it’s dark by then) so they don’t notice the eggs.
I don’t give them layer feed because I have a very sweet rooster and I’m not positive but I heard that too much calcium can lead to kidney damage. But I have a separate bowl of crushed oyster shells for the hens, I’ve seen them pick up some occasionally but not often.
We have one hen who we believe is either blind or can’t see well in one eye. She can find food because our rooster will call her over but he doesn’t call her to the calcium.
What’s the solution here? Should I switch to layer feed despite having a rooster or do I need to hand-feed the oyster to the blind hen?
Thanks for any replies!
