Blind? Not Blind?

well, our roo Fluffy was hurt yesterday by a dog attack, and his one eye is hurt. he cant open it. i pryed it open and it was all black. whats going on with him?

if its completely black or red I'd think that a blood vessel in the eye busted big time and the eye is ingorged with blood below the surface. I've seen some that somehow the blood is reabsorbed and they seem to be able to see out of it, but I would bet that the rooster is going to be blind in that eye.
