She bit my hand a couple of times but that's ok...my chicken bite bruses will heal.

I never gave it to her before because I wasn't sure she could digest it ok. A couple of days ago I noticed she was pecking the ground and eating dirt so I figured now she could pass the scratch ok.

She loved it. The other chickens get it on cold days and now she can too.

I also put her friend Hottie (EE) in the Tiny's Townhouse with her tonight. Hottie likes to cuddle and she never picks on Tiny so she's a good night time cuddle buddy.

Glad to hear she is doing well. I have two 'tiny' chickens - Hoppy the Silkie and Hoppy, Jr the Barred Rock and I hope one day they will get as big and beautiful as your Tiny!

Awwww thanks! Tiny was named Tiny because she was sooooo tiny as a baby. She was born blind and she was about a week behind in size from the other chicks. She's doing great now!!!

that story touched my heart.im so glad your baby is doing great.iv never heard about a blind chicken making it before.great going .god bless you and your chicken

thanks for taking such good care of tiny and for sticking with her despite her "differnence." i'm one of those folks who believe that many of us can have a high quality of life even if we aren't "perfect."
yea you!
yea tiny!

I am a sucker for " pets with needs " and Tiny is just a sweetheart. How did you first now she was blind? at what age? Did you hatch her from your own eggs?
I am so glad you did not cull her - she is such a pretty girl and from the looks of her very spoiled !!
Hottie is a very lovely little girl ( love the name )

southern, that is great!

Now, she can be considered as normal as any other chicken.

I can verify that Tiny is beautiful.
I wouldn't have ever known she was blind if I hadn't read it on here.

It's good too that she can have a cuddle buddy on these cold nights.
