Blinders!

I have just bought three commmon pheasant a couple weeks ago. 1 rooster and 2 hens,I been meaning to ask this question and get side tracked. They all three have blinders on them. Do I leave them on or take them off?

A lot depends on how aggressive the individual birds are. I hate blinders myself and try to avoid using them but I did have one ringneck cock that I had to resort to using a blinder on for awhile. I try to give mine plenty of space and that seems to help.

If you take them off and start having pecking problems you can always put them back on - will just need new pins.

Take them off.If you have a trio with only 1 male they will be fine.I hate those stupid things.They are mainly for people that overcrowd their pen and the birds start to peck each other just to get some space.
