Blinking lights deter night predators?

Best defense is electric strand , one strand about 6"above ground, another strand about 20 ", intersect with below ground wire at entrance doors (99% chances are the predator will get hit before it ever discovers door spans are not protected ). you can add a inline kill switch or a timer or both, for periods when birds are allowed out of coop or gone to roost. This will pretty much predictor proof your coop ! Have even found dead black snakes ( egg thieves ) wrapped around the wire at my coop. Be sure to add warning labels for the occasional human spectators !
