Blister on Chick

I just got an email from a friend who had a chick hatch out that has a blister on its head. She said it looks just like one people get with a burn. Any ideas what causes this, or how to treat it? Monty

Could it be that it was burned by the bator element? Maybe some neosporin on its little head. Hope this helps!
