He or she is 11 weeks old. Any guesses? I’m thinking roo due to comb and wattles.

That’s great actually. I’m thinking about introducing him as my main cockerel in my flock of 20 in the future. I want to know if the older ladies will bully him if I introduce him by himself?

Just remember to slowly integrate them for safety. But i think that is a really good idea. And most likely the hens wont bully, the roo is most likely to. That is why you integrate them slowly.

I introduced my rooster to the hens by himself, and he did great. I bought him off Craigslist, and he was seven months old, I believe. There was a bit of a rodeo when I put him in there, in the early morning. He and the oldest hens, about four years old at the time, fought a bit, but everyone else was just terrified of him. They settled down pretty well be evening, though, and nobody got hurt.
