I noticed some of my chicks have tail feathers started alread and some have not. I was also made aware pure breeds cant be sexed by fearhers. Im still learning, so my question is , are early tail feather indicator of female like I have heard.

Ive been told in Some breeds females can feather earlier than roosters, I'm not sure if it's a for sure method in some breeds or an old wives tale. Either way you should be able to sex them when they're older
