blood drops everywhere in quail pen.

Is that an abbreviation of jazak'allah? If so, shukran :)

I would guess it depends on how much flailing the bird did once it was attacked.

However, I am remembering that when I had two male cockatiels, they would fight and the whole room was covered in blood from their pin feathers busting while still full of blood.

3fwan. Omg that sounds horrid. With my very short experience in poultry I have grown to resent roos! They have made a nice family pass time ( when they were young) into a bloody disaster for me.

Ive had a few quail that would sneeze out blood once and a while... still dont know why but they would drop blood out of their noses. Only thing I couls think of is dry humidity and cold weather... never had one do it again after I put a little heater in the shed on cold nights...
