The day before yesterday, my duckling lost a blood feather. He wasn’t bleeding anywhere, and we found other feathers like this one coming from his tail, so he seemed to be good. He was acting normal, and more were coming in
Just now, we found this feather that looks like it came from his wing. What could have caused them to fall out? He’s clearly growing in his adult feathers, and has been molting... But seeing these two new ones fall out before they even develop is quite strange. Is this a duck thing? Is he okay?
