Blood in Chicken Poop?

That looks like stringy intestinal shed. It can be normal once in a while, but if you see if often, Corid might be good. It is probably good that you started it already.

One of them also had this too. The yellow of it was like snot and there was a sting of blood. I thought it look like intestinal shed but I’ve seen it two days in a row and I don’t know if it’s normal to see it that often.

I’m using the powdered kind that has 20%. Half a teaspoon per gallon. I feed them the Dumor starter/grower, chick grit, and last night I gave them strawberry, carrot, cucumber, and blueberry. Then I sprinkle the flock part corn and mealworm mix when I’m trying to get them back in the coop. Plus whatever the eat while they’re free ranging.

I have read that tomatoes and anything in the nightshade family is not safe for chickens to eat?

I would cut out the treats or cut back drastically on the treats, they need to be eating their normal feed - they are free ranging and finding all kinds of goodies. A sprinkle of scratch to call them in at night should be sufficient.

You really don't want them to eat the plant..."fruit" like the tomato itself is fine.

Ok thank you so much! I’ve been worrying about them, but after watching them for a bit I noticed that other poops they have are normal. None of them have been acting sick but I thought it would be better to give the the medicine to be safe. Should I not let them free range during this time or is it still ok to let them?

That’s what I read so I just gave them the actual tomato and not a lot at all. Maybe half of a small one.

Do they have a lot of water sources spread throughout the property? You would want them drinking the medicated water - if you can control the water, then I don't see why they need to be kept up.

The only water I have around where they walk around is their water, unless they find a puddle of some, but I keep a pretty close eye on them while they’re out.
