I just thought maybe you thought it was a partially developed chick lol... wanted to clarify, a lot of people think that at first.

Unappetizing, but not too uncommon. This is why we break eggs individually into a separate bowl.

If they're livestock rather than pets and you find that it's one hen having a consistent problem you might consider culling her.

If they're pets, just keep breaking the eggs individually into a separate bowl.
