Today when I was collecting my eggs I noticed a small amount of blood in one of the nesting boxes with an egg in it. I gave an overview of my girls and they were acting normal, and I didn't see any blood on any of them... but I didn't look realllyy hard. Just wondering if chickens ever bleed when laying an egg? Sounds kind of gruesome, but some of these eggs are HUGE!
