Blood in poop

Found blood poop in coop this morning. Is it better to treat with corid even if you’re not sure if it’s intestinal shed or not. Chickens are 8 weeks old eating and drinking just fine. New chicken mamma here.

I would start treatment, I had a horrible coccidiosis outbreak a few days ago and the first thing I noticed was bloody poop, then the next then I new 4 chicks were dead.

Yes! I’d rather treat them now than to wait. We just dealt with our first ever round of coccidosis and I lost 9 babies didn’t realize what was going on till I lost the 2nd one and then they all dropped even after I got corid in them.
