one of my pearl leghorns just started laying about 4 days ago, but for the past 2 days i have noticed alittle blood on the shell. Is this ok? it doesnt worry me too bad because its not alot but do i need to do anything different ie feed, nest bedding or anything?

It's because she is a new layer I'm sure. You could offer some black oil sunflower seeds which help. But I think you'll see it stop as she lays more eggs.

My girls would love to live with you!
They gobble sunflower seeds like candy

My girls love them too. My EEer's still have a little blood on them now and then. They've had a hard time with the whole laying idea. She'll be fine, but make sure there isn't any blood that the other chickens can see. If there is, clean her up and get her away from them till she heals, if there are any external wounds.
