Blood on eggs?

    Hey guys! Quick question. Is it normal for there to be blood on an egg?

    Well, that looks a little odd, but yes, it's normal.
    Usually happens in pullets, because they have to 'stretch' to get it out.

    That looks more like a drip, rather than the usual smear that can happen when a bird lays.
    If someone had a pecked and bleeding comb, you can find drips around.
    That's my guess.
    If it continues, it would warrant further investigation.
