Hi all.
I manage a flock of twelve chickens at a local school, and over the past weekend their feeder got smeared with blood (the weekend person sent me the pic). I've not seen anything like this before. It's gotten cold here, down in the 20's here and there. I do not see any visible injuries aside from a touch of frostbite on a couple with larger combs. They have quite a spacious coop. Is this related to frostbite, and it just a matter of keeping the windows open in the coop for more air circulation?
