Blood on gosling's head.

They can get over heated as well as chilled I’d say she is In shock. It’s amazing what they can recover from though so keeping the wound clean and keep her away from flies so they can’t lay eggs in the wounds or you’ll be dealing with maggots. Can you get a really good pic of her head. Let’s see if @casportpony is on she might have more advise as far as treatment. Have you cleaned it up?

It’s very young, but I’ve seen posts about chickens scalped by inept or aggressive roosters that have made a full recovery. I’m just offering hope here... I’ll let others offer the advice except that I’d put “mommy dearest” back with the general population and the rest of the babies in a brooder.
