Hi All - my sweet Cookies n Cream (named Cookie - creative, I know...) tore off a toenail. We brought her inside, cleaned the wound, put antiseptic on it and put her in a hospital crate for the night. Problem is, there is blood all over the perches. What is the best method to clean blood off wooden perches that is the most sanitary and gets it out? Thanks

Honestly, I never cleaned blood off a perch from pecking or a blood feather. But hydrogen peroxide will usually take blood out of clothing, and you could rinse it off with a wet wash cloth or towel.

Removing the perch to use a pressure washer on it would be my way to clean it. Let dry in the sun before repositioning.
