Blood on pipped egg !!

Ive got one goose left to pip and hes pipped the wrong end, ive noticed some blood on the membrane, hes got his beak visable and hes alive, he pipped around 25 hours ago, do you think hes bleeding inside egg or where the others knocked him and caught it, will he be ok ?

No its just sat in there chattering away

Well at least it sounds happy and healthy! If the others are bumping it a lot maybe you should consider taking them out to let it hatch in peace; you can put a wet tissue in after you close it if you are worried about humidity dropping.

Thank you, yes i took them out this morning, they are happy, this little one still in the egg has just reached up and broke a bit of shell so im happy we are on course, just hope he can manage it himself

It should be able to hatch by itself. Once they pip - even the ones that do at the other end - they are usually able to unzip. Just watch it and make sure it doesn't get stuck in one spot for ages when zipping around.
