Blood on shell

Today when I collected my eggs I noticed one egg had blood streaks on it. I looked as best as I could at the vents of all birds and did not see anything unusual. Any suggestions?

Are these new hens laying? Sometimes they have a hard time getting the egg out. Just watch them...and make sure they are "bleeding" every egg. Mine get a little bloody sometimes...even the older hens...if the egg is large...or if they have been stressed from heat or whatever.

They have been laying for months, but it is very hot and humid in Florida and perhaps they are stressed from the heat.

i live in florida to and its realy hot here so maby it is the heat beacause 2 days ago i collected my eggs and 1 waz blood streked,but my hens are 2 years old ! so it cant be age.
