blood ring or blind

I really havnt!! I tried and tried and just could not fit anymore in. The other half suggested stacking them in LOL When I told him that others have done that before he looked in horror, he was just kidding taking the mick out of me. I think he was panicking that I might add more and more. I have suggested a bigger incubator but it fell on deaf ears with with him. Would be good to a have a bigger one really now as I have another tray of 23 eggs!! A bigger incubator and I could have got them in too!!

14 hours and 10 minutes and I get my ear done :yesss: It's got that bad I'm counting the hours and minutes now!! I am seriously sick to the back teeth of it now.

Maybe some ear plugs for you if the kids are that loud? I can certainly imagine how loud they are all once they get going.

How's the flock? How about those little polish you got? Are they hens? Oh and the cat? Has she settled ok now? We have some kittens at the farm right now, newly born and they are super cute. Have not had a good look yet as I don't want mother cat to move them. From what I could see there is a ginger, black and black and white. Not sure how many but there looked to be a few all curled and fast asleep. The mother cat is not very friendly so I'm trying not to upset her.

one of the polish died a week or more ago. I dont know why, just found it gone then the next night another. no more since then. All my serama eggs were bad. I adore watching baby kittens play. they are so funny. LOL My sons cat is a bad kitty. she bites and scratches everyone while they sleep including baby. attacks heads and feet. She peed in the floor right under my feet the other day. too many cats using one litter box. I am in tons of pain today. pills are not working. I am trying to make a leg for a chick with twisted leg. I used styrofoam. she is standing ok so i am going to look into someone making her a wooden one. teakwood maybe. thats lightweight.

That's really pants about the polish and eggs granny :hugs
I had a look today at the kittens while mother cat was feeding. There are 6 of them, 2 ginger, 2 tabby and 2 black and white ones. They are only a couple of days old so still in the nest. I'm hoping she does not move them as I would like to get them tamed up and rehomed. They are a nightmare to catch when they are ferrel.
Your sons cat sounds a monkey!! Has your daughter brought some cats with her or have you got others too?

Hope your not in too much pain today and the pills are working. Talking of pain I went for the ear doing and she could not syringe it out. It's all too clogged up on my eardrum and if she did it it could perforate it. I've got to put drops in for 2 weeks and then go back again. I'm hoping it will all soften up and come out ok in a couple of weeks.

Weather crap here right now. Nearly 9pm here and it's raining and we are having gusts of 60-70mph winds!! Going to get worse in the night too. More like October/November right now. But they have forecast 25 Celsius for the end of the week which will be tropical for England.

I have 2 cats. my sons and my shadow. he is about 15 yrs. i think. My daughter brought her cat as well. I am sorry to hear about your ear. I hope you start feeling better soon. I am sick with a head cold or such. It is way colder here then normal. Lucky i didnt have to go out today. I would of needed a jacket ! High of 61 today i think. should be in the 80s. Pain is no better but i didnt take any pills today either. I dont like those things and they didnt help yesterday so why bother. Called the nurse today and Dr. still hasnt found a different Dr. for me to go to for my foot.

That's quite a few cats you have then now granny. I have a litter tray in the house just incase but my little cat can out as she pleases. When I first got her and started letting her out she would come back in just to use the tray!! It's a crazy cat.
Head colds are awful aren't they? Honey and lemon my Grandma always swears by for them. I hope they find you a doc soon for your foot at least you could get about a bit better and have no pain with it.
The wind was howling last night, just hoping it does pick up later in the week. Cool for you too then, like it hear needing a jacket to go out with.

I'm going to candle on Friday, it will be day 6 but I can see good in the polish eggs so any clears are easy to spot. The 4 cross chicks I have in the shed are just over 2 weeks now and I have heard one practicing crowing!! OMG I've never had them this early. I will get some pics of the 3 I still have here for my mother to see what you think they are, I'm still confused with the cross ones. The polish is a girl I think. The frizzle looks old though really nice, I like it.

I really am so pleased you are now able to hop all over, willy nilly :bun It make such a difference with no ads and you are most welcome granny :hugs

My day just starting here so birds are out and fed and watered so now the crazy horse needs putting out!! He came into his stable last night with the weather been bad so he will be wild as wind this morning with being cooped up all night!!

You have a lovely day when your up and about and speak to you real soon :highfive:

Thats not counting the 3 barn cats. at least they catch mice. 3 in here and mine have never caught a mouse. matter of fact my cat is afraid of them. Daughters cat caught one. Maybe they will learn from her. Hope you have a great day. would love to be around a horse and learn more about them. I cant ride any more though.

At least the barn cats are catching!! We had a rat problem down the farm last year and the yard cats were great. One morning went down and they had left me 5 presents of dead rats! They had worked super hard that night.

Not having a bad day so far, Harry horse was not as bad as I thought he would be to get down the field. Maybe he is finally growing up, only taken him 19 years.
They are super cool animals to look after and be around. I went to college at 16 and did 2 years on a horse course and it was great. Then worked on a livery yard for 2 years and them my little bundle of a son came along.

It's ashame you can't ride anymore, did you ride often before?

collage at 16 ?? wow awesome !! I didnt ride often but when i could. i remember my sister and myself would slip out in the middle of the night. there was a stable close by. we would go and grab a horse and a milk crate and we were off ! one night i tipped the crate and the horse stomped my foot. that ended our nightly fun. last time i went it was a poor trail horse. you could just sit there and he knew the way. very sad. I didnt know how weak my legs were and i mounted with my wrist. ER dr. said sprain. LOL That was a couple yrs ago.

Sounds like you and your sister were horse rustlers!! LOL I can just imagine the night time escapades. The trail horses do get used to the way when they do it often, I know what you mean. Fancy spraining your wrist. I'm usually one for cockling over on my ankles I've done them both several times. Last time was awful my ankle was like a ballon and all the colours of the rainbow. Did it at the farm too and as much as it hurt I got my long riding boot off!! No way we're they cutting it off!! The girl down there who helped me was being a right whimp, all she kept saying was "I'm hurting you I'm hurting you!" I had to say in the end "pull the thing off cos if I have to buy anymore that will hurt my pocket more"

Secondary school finishes for kids here at 16. Unless they have a sixth form, not all school do though. I suppose that would be classed as your high school? Then onto college and then university.
