Yes I have a Brinsea, and it's no thinking. Is as you want plug in set up, put eggs in and away you go. All you have to do is top the little water tank up under the humidity pump once or twice during incubation. The pump maintains the humidity for you. That's it. Totally set and forget incubator, no messing.

Oh I've got a pip It's a bit hard seeing all the eggs as its a little cramped with 27 in there. Hoping to have a hatcher tomorrow!!

The kitchen needed doing though and it was a good excuse. Allthough I like things to be in the right place all the time, the cleaning is not always on the top of my list of priorities

was gone most the day. it was for dd and son. what is that small yellow thing in front of the incubator ? A pip already !!!! wow. thats fast. makes me want to hatch . lol 100% again ? the bator is nice . hope you do win the lotto ! hahaaa

I hope I do too!! The small yellow thing is a candler. You can sit the egg on the candler on the black rubber seal. Or you can hold it on the egg to keep them upright.

Just got up and I have 9 pips now that I can see e

Three have hatched in the last 4 hours, a gold lace, blue and a chamois (Buff). Got at least one more zipping and not sure on the pips as they are getting knocked all over now. Just got guinea cage set up ready as I think it will be pretty full once a few more hatch. All early as its day 20, may just check the incubator temps once this hatch over and done.

Have had to spur my Mum on to take her three as i am going to have to move the four out of the shed and into there coop and run as the broody is in my other spare coop and run!! Getting over run and running out of space
Have set the pen up for her so hoping to get them taken tomorrow morning.

Oh I don't know Too many, probably nearly a hundred. Been hatching every month nearly so must be nearly that many. Have got 8 hatched now and number 9 is just zipping. Will have to move some to the brooder before bed as its looking full and a couple of shells have got stuck on a couple of unhatched eggs.

How old is your silver laced? Snowy was quite black on his crest when he was younger and as he aged the more white he got in it. She might do the same.

they are so lovely . one just staring at you too. I dont remember how old mine is. Its a couple months i am guessing. I got 2 of them from the swap and one died.

A couple of months it could still lighten up some more. Will try to find a pic of Snowball when he was younger.
