Blood ring or normal development?

Hey, sorry in advance but I didn't know any other place to ask. This is an abandoned pigeon egg that surprisingly started to develop in my shabby emergency incubator.
However this puzzles me. It's not a spot-on perfect blood ring like the images I've browsed, but the resemblance is uncanny. I've never incubated before. I figured if someone can tell if this is a blood ring, it'd be someone in this forum... Thank you for your time and I apologize for non-chicken business.

I don't know anything about pigeons but it looks like an embryo that has very recently quit. I can't see any veins between the central dark shape of the embryo and the outer circle. I would wait another day and candle again to be sure.
