blood smear on pullet egg?

I think one of my salmon faverolle girls laid her first egg today (or at least the first I've seen). They're 6 months old. It is a pale cream color which I think I remember being the color of the eggs they were hatched from. Anyway, there was a small streak/smear of blood on it. Normal or cause for concern?

I have 32 pullets laying now, and have had the same blood smears on probably 15 eggs, so I think it just might be their first eggs.

I had RIR's they layed giant eggs they were blood smeared all there lives.

Normal - It takes considerable stretching of the 'production line' to get that thing out. Generally this situation resolves rather rapidly.

My girls have all been laying for a while, some for months and others years, and I still occasionally collect an egg with a blood smear. Makes me cringe for the girl that laid it...

Blood on the outside of an egg shell means the hen has popped a few blood vessels in the Vent. Not unusual with a young pullet. The egg produced may have been a bit larger than she normally produces and ruptured vessels on exit.
