i am not sure who it is-think the wynadotte but I often get eggs with blood spattered at one or both ends. very small droplets but plenty of them. I sell a lot of the eggs so I wash them off but I also read you shouldn't use anthing harsher than your fingers to wash. the blood doesn't come off easily so I use a sponge strictly for that but wonder if I should be worried about why it is happening.

Are you sure it's blood....or just reddish brown speckles?
My Wyandotte's lay reddish brown speckled eggs.
