My sister in law thinks the same thing!!!! I told her that I think it's just a little more solid because it could be the equivalent of an umbilical cord for chickens, like if the egg were to incubate and grow it might be what the chick attaches to or something (totally b.s.'ing her, but just to get her mind off the whole sperm idea) I would really like to know what goes through their heads!!!! How is 'sperm' gonna get in there, and what kind of equipment do you think a rooster has to put something that.........never mind. LOL!!!! Moenmitz has the right idea!!!!

I worked with another lawyer years ago that was an idiot in the common sense arena. We had the biggest argument one day because he was discussing this case where a horse had injured someone and some property. The fool was referring to the horse as a mare. The horse was a stallion named Maxi's Boy.

!But to fess up here, when I used to eat eggs, before going veggie, I would always pick that part out! I do not know why it bothers me. Just the way it is thick and cordy, yuck!

At least I knew it was not rooster sperm though

I know this died over a week ago but had to add that my brother-in-law has always called that thicker white stuff in the egg "Cock shot".
