Blood Spot vs Eye

So one site I checked said bad eggs can get blood spots and the other site I checked said eyes. I would be on day 7
They look the same to me.

How do you tell a difference?

The egg does not smell at all..

i had one i thought was a blood spot. i just waited until day 14 and checked it again. by that time you can see them moving and it was obvious that the questionable egg was dead. hth!

Eyes end up being in a moving object. Blood spots tend to hang out in one spot and never move. You do have to wait until they get to hopping about but then it's pretty obvious.
