I have never seen this before...
I am setting duck eggs that were 1-2 wks old...most of them are veiny, 1 had a blood ring (which I read is bad = chunk it) but there are that have blood SPOTS??? What's this mean? Should I wait and see or should I chunk them & be safe rather than sorry?
Thx guys

You sure its bloodspots?..more than one spot in the egg?...if its just one might be the embryo?... I would put a question mark on them and then when I candled again take it out if no growth....I'm always afraid of tossing a good egg the first time candling...unless I really see clears or bloodrings...

It's one blood spot...no veins...nothing moving...nothing dark (like w/a chicken egg).
I'll check it in 3 days again I guess...best thing I can think to do...I just REALLY don't want exploding eggs...
