I have been selling big brown eggs for a couple of years. I have about 20 hens, but only 12 lay. I also have 4 roosters. Sometimes I notice blood inside the egg, so I know they are fertilized. Do you think that the people who buy my eggs get grossed out

if they come across these little bloody spots? Nobody has said anything yet. What should I tell them if they do ask? rughooker

the blood spots have nothing to do with being fertilized it has to do with a blood vessel that breaks during the egg laying process I am pretty sure I read that on here/

Tell them the truth - it is perfectly normal and not in any way a bad egg. It doesn't worry me, but if I am making cakes or sauces with my eggs, I do use a teaspoon and take it out.
