Blood spots in first eggs common

I have just started picking up a few eggs from my RIR, They are just 19 weeks old. Most of the eggs have a little spot on them and some have blood in them. Is there any thing I can do or is this common among young pullets.

Yes. Lots of uncommon things are common during those first few weeks of laying. Actually, meat/blood spots aren't all that uncommon at any time.

Think of it as a sign of freshness since the spot will probably disappear into the yolk if the egg is very old. Fish it out with the point of a knife if it bothers you to use that egg otherwise.
