Bloody discharge from vent, HELP!*Graphic Pic*

She's still hanging in there. I managed to get about 3-4 tablespoons of water with antibiotic into her, but nothing else so far. Her breathing is slow and regular but stil very raspy.
She seems a little cool so dh put a heating pad under her roost box on low, and hopefully that'll help keep her comfortable.

Oh I forgot to add that her vent appears to be clean now with very little discharge. I also have a feeling that this was where a large amount of watery poo with some blood tinged liquid came from yesterday cleaning out the coop.

Thanks to all that helped. Hook passed away tonight.

I'd rather remember her like this than the other picture.

Thank you Karen.
My daughter is taking this really hard. It's the first real death that she's dealt with in her 8 years. I hurt more for her than Hook.

Sorry, I'm not used to the coding here for the smilies without the pics...*blush*

Oh crap.

I am so very sorry about your bird. You sure fought hard to save her, although things were not looking good from the first picture.

Please give yourself a pat on the back for me. No, make that a hug. . .

I just wanted to say I am really sorry for your loss. Just know that you did all you could for her and you gave it your best shot. I am sure she had a good happy life.
