bloody disturbing egg

One of my ee's laid a mega egg and inside was one yolk, LOTS of blood and 2 dark masses. Yuck. Should I be concerned?

it sounds like they were partially developed chicks....

I didn't take a pic and I don't have a rooster.

At least I don't THINK I have a rooster. they are 9 months old. How can I tell if one is a rooster?

Okay then that is really weird....
It could also be her shedding some inner lining (which I guess is completely normal) but I've never actually heard of it being IN the egg... Only in their poo.

If it happens again, definately take a pic. The BYC geniuses could tell you for sure what it is if they can see it.
