ouch!!!!!!
it's o.k sometime's our laying do this when they havent layed in a couple day's or the egg was a little too big
you might want to check the rump's of all your hen's to see if there is blood or other discharge from there
if it happen's all the time then one of the hen's have internally bleeding and this serious for that hen. you can try and see which hen is laying what egg and narrow it down to one of them. but this only happen's to our's when they haven't layed a egg for awhile.
hope's this help's

Ouch is right. This is pretty common in girls who have just started laying or are coming back into lay after a long rest, like moulting.

well I can tell you this ... 2 weeks ago ... one of these Brown Leghorns laid a double yoker!!! But that was a while ago! I only have 4 birds that lay this color egg ... so it should be easy to figure out! now if it would just warm up before I go out there and lift their tail skirts!
