Bloody egg.....

So, i have had chickens for 8 months now. I raised them all from chicks, and the orpingtons started laying at 6 months. now 2 months later, i have gotten my first silkie eggs!!!!! i have 2 of them, and the first looks ok, but then i picked up this one and found it was bloody

Am I reading your post correctly - this egg is from a new layer?

If she just started laying eggs, then it is most likely normal. She may have had a tiny blood vessel rupture when straining to lay her egg.
Make sure she is staying hydrated and offer oyster shells free choice.

It's not unusual for newer layers to have some issues with the quality of their eggs and some injury to the vent. That's really not a lot of blood so as long as her vent area looks ok it should be fine and I wouldn't be concerned unless she has the same issue repeatedly.
