Bloody egg?

I found a blood spot under the roosting bar this morning. Could it be a bloody egg? Any advice?

My hens are five months out and just starting to lay eggs.

FYI. I do clean under my roosting bar daily. This is just a result of 12 chickens all crowding on the same roasting bar.

If there's more poop like that in the a.m. then you need to figure out which pullet it is and examine her for any signs of prolapse or injury to the vent.

What do you feed, including treats?
Do they have Oyster Shell?

How long have you had the pullets and them being on this ground they are on now?
