Hello and welcome to BYC!
I moved this thread over to our Emergency forums for more help with this.
Is she a regular layer now or is she an occasional layer? Do these eggs have a shell on them?
I had an 11 year old hen that laid what looked like bloody tumors, round, full of blood, no shell. She laid 2 of these in a row. I believe she had some sort of oviduct infection and was going to start her on antibiotics if it continued. It did not and she seemed to recover.
If your hen is laying these types of eggs, you might consider a round of Amoxicillin. If she is putting a shell on and they are bloody, something else may be going on like an injury or internal bleeding.
Do you have any photos of these eggs?
