Jolene is almost 10 months old, started laying in early October but hasn't laid since November 30th. She's molting lightly so I figured between that and the shortened daylight, no big deal (not the only freeloader in my coop right now). Two days ago, I found small spots of blood on a roost. I inspected everyone and saw nothing but I have 3 month old babies in there with the older girls and there's still growing pains so I thought maybe a chick got pecked.

This morning, I found Jolene looking like this:

All her tail feathers are missing, bleeding and she was acting much less social than normal. I brought her in, cleaned her up and put a little Neosporan on the area. She's sitting on my lap in the house now. I work from home so I brought her in the office with me thinking she'd walk around but she hasn't left my lap. I brought some cheese with oregano in here for her but she hasn't wanted any. She ate a little from my hand in the bathroom but no real interest. Normally, that's a favorite treat.

Should I keep her in the house all day? Let her go back outside if she perks up? She's not low hen by any means and with chicks in the coop to pick on, none of the big girls peck at each other. All I can think is a feather broke and bleed and someone got interested in it? Is there anything else I should be doing for her?
