This morning we found our white leghorn dead. She was a good layer and 7 months old. When I went to feed them yesterday evening she was already on the roost and didn't care much that I was there. I noticed a couple of days ago that her backside looked dirtier than usual. I found some bloody poo in the coop and run this morning and I am thinking that she may have eatin too much chicken scratch if that is possile. The rest of my hens seem okay. There is no blood in their stools but a little runny. One of my bared rocks has her feathers spread as if she is getting ready to poo but seems normal otherwise. If anyone has any idea of what I may e dealig with please let me know. This is my first flock of chickens and before this they have been very healthy. Thank you!
