bloody poo

If they are in a brooder and not on dirt than they probably don't have cocci. If you want to you can post a picture of the poo? Also, there are some great links to feces types, you would be amazed at what is considered normal.

Reddish poo is very normal, if it's bloody poo you will know it. There's no mistaking it.

Cocci is a naturally occurring parasite present in all chickens. Usually it's fine and presents no issues, but sometimes it can get out of balance and cause intestinal damage. When mine became an issue we had just moved, so the birds were stressed (weakening their reisistence) and it may have exposed them to a type that was new to them.

Hearing more details, it is probably not your issues. But I would recommend looking at the link new2chicks posted, it's excellent.

I had just moved them to the basement to harden them off. Now they are acting sickly a few have bubbley eyes

I would recommend going to the illness/injuries area of BYC and doing a search, I've asked this thread to move there (hopefully you'll get better results). If it does get moved you will want to read through the question format for that area and edit your original post to help people try to guide you in the right direction.

If it doesn't get moved you will want to start a new post in that area, there will be a sticky at the top with the question format.
