Very sorry for your loss.
At least she didn't linger in a vegetative state.i dread that sort of thing. Sorry for your loss. It's hard losing a parent.
Thank you to all of you! It means a lot.

Kevin will be here soon Im guessing. I called him yesterday to not come here and he said I cant understand what your saying Is it ok to come by? I said no and he was here in about 5 mins. I guess he is deciding to come and run a few errands anyway

I don't care what kind of a relationship a person has with their mothers, how old they are or what their health is when they pass. It's always a hit to the heart when you lose them.:hit
Yes, I feel like an orphan. No parents, aunts, or uncles left.
Both parents are gone, it’s definite feeling different.
I do have a lot of first and second cousins and a bunch of siblings.

Its good you have family w/ you. My moms daughters actually gave me a choose they said they could come to say goodbye or come after she passed. They all flew for the most part. Only one came back for the funeral. That was ok by me. I didn't need what they were offering

Why didn't you want him, Granny?

Afternoon all. Back hurts but time isn't standing still. Having a pup in the house has me dashing around getting things out of her sharp toothed grasp. Lordie I didn't realize how un-puppy safe our house was. Told DH. If you value your shoes, now is the time to move them as she has zeroed in on the little tabs on the back of the heel.

Also, piddle pads are worth their weight in gold. But she is doing fantastic. Has learned to go up and down the deck steps, knows her name, jumps off the sofa (although she does it like a sky diver with all four feet spread out like she is flying)

Now if my back would just stop hurting.........
