I have been feeding my chicks medicated feed since day one. This morning when I went to check the brooder there were quite a few bloody poops. I’m presuming coccidiosis, what else can I do to remedy them? I do not want to lose all of these birds!

Get some Corid from your feed store. Get the liquid or powder and add 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder to each gallon of water. Or contact your vet who might prescribe Albon or sulfadimethoxine. Corid treatment is for 5-7 days. You can continue that treatment at 1/4 of that dosage for an additional 5 days.

I know it’s weird, but can you post pictures of the poop? There is a difference between cocci. poop and the normal shedding of the intestinal lining.

Yea I doubt it’s the normal lining shed, it looked like a crime scene this morning when I went to bring everyone outside
