One of my 3 week old chicks has a bloody poop. They are all acting normal. They have also all gotten the coccidiosis vaccine (spray) from hoovers hatchery. They are in my bathtub, never been outside.

That’s scary to be sure.
Cocci is the most common reason. Although, it could have eaten something sharp like a shaving.
I would keep a very close eye to see if it happens again. You should know soon.

Should i just treat for cocci with corid and void the vaccine? I have to leave for work soon and wont be home until 4-5. Also if i do how much corid do I put in 1qt waterers? I have three 1qts and 15 chicks

I would treat with Corid at the maximum dosage 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water for 5-7 days. If any appear weak, or you see the one who passed the blood, you can also give undiluted Corid 0.1 orally twice a day for several days. After you finish that, you may also reduce the Corid to 1/3 of that dose in the water for another 5 days. Others may disagree, but that is pretty bloody, not intestinal shed. It could be possible that the chick was missed or the vaccine was not successful.

I started it yesterday and haven’t seen blood since! None ever showed signs of any other symptoms besides blood so I must have caught it very early.
