Hi there!

This is my first time raising chickens (from eggs I hatched). I have a small flock of 6 backyard pet chickens.

My 9 week old chicken has bloody stool, but no other symptoms! Earliest I can get in to a vet is Saturday.

In the meantime I have started medicated chick feed and Germe-Zone. I don’t know if this is coccidiosis as there are no other symptoms.

I have her separated, but will take any other advice on what to do.

Do you have photos of the stool? If you just saw it once it could be intestinal shed. If it’s happening frequently I would defiantly start everyone on Corid.
It seems that every second poop looks bloody. I took two photos from two poops within an hour of each other. I have her separated right now in my house - hence the plastic feeder and setup. It was a quick thing I put together incase she got really sick. She is my favourite chicken - I helped her hatch :(
